Sports Massage

Sports massage is a form of massage involving the manipulation of soft tissue to benefit a person engaged in regular physical activity. Soft tissue is connective tissue that has not hardened into bone and cartilage; it includes skin, muscles, tendons, ligaments and fascia (a form of connective tissue that lines and ensheathes the other soft tissues).
Sports massage is designed to assist in correcting problems and imbalances in soft tissue that are caused from repetitive and strenuous physical activity and trauma. The application of sports massage, prior to and after exercise, may enhance performance, aid recovery and prevent injury.

Cupping

Cupping is a beneficial therapy used for a variety of things, including discomfort or pain. There are many alternative treatment options that can help lessen or even eliminate the discomfort and/or pain that people go through. Since cupping is one of the more beneficial options, many people are choosing it, including athletes. Cupping can even be used to help decrease an athlete’s recovery time after they have undergone strenuous training. The fact that cupping can help stimulate the chemical breakdown of any toxins within the body, means that athletes who need their muscles and tissues to heal quickly can expect this to happen when undergoing cupping therapy. Since cupping also helps to reduce any inflammation within the body, athletes can expect an improvement in their blood flow

Dry Needling

Dry needling treats muscle tissue, and its goal is to reduce pain, inactivate trigger points and restore function. It rarely is a standalone procedure. Rather, it often is part of a broader physical therapy approach incorporating other traditional physical therapy interventions into treatment. Dry needling can be used for a wide variety of musculoskeletal issues, such as shoulder, neck, heel, hip and back pain.
